Ravens sign QB Bulger

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (notes) has gotten himself a pretty good backup. The Baltimore Sun is reporting that the Ravens have signed two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Marc Bulger (notes) for $3.8 million, which is actually more than Flacco will make this coming season. He’s got $2.66 million coming to him.

The deal will be signed early next week as long as the 33-year-old Bulger passes a physical, Ravens executive vice president and general manager Ozzie Newsome told the paper.

Bulger can make up to $5.3 million with incentives, the paper reports.
